Summary Profile

Katerina Labrinou completed her PhD at Panteion University (Department of Political Science and History). She is currently conducting her postdoctoral research under the title “Policies ‘in a Plaster Cast’: Looking through the Greek Junta’s Legislative Production” funded by the Greek State Scholarship Foundation. She holds a BA in English Language and Literature (University of Athens), an MA in Cultural Studies (Lancaster University), an MA in Political Science and Sociology (University of Athens), and was a visiting PhD student at Université Paris-Dauphine. She is the author of the book United Democratic Left, 1956-1967: politics and ideology (Polis, 2017). Katerina has worked in several archival projects, as a special adviser in the Special Secretary of the European Social Fund and as a parliamentary assistant, and has also participated in several research projects such as “SoDaNeT In Action” and “Framing Financial Crisis and Protest: North-West and South-East Europe”. She is member of the editing board of the journal Archeiotaxio. Her research interests revolves around 20th century political parties and authoritarian regimes.
