Alexandra Dimou is Phd Candidate on Political Science at the Department of Political Science and History, Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences. She completed her Bachelor degree in Law (LLB, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki) and holds Master’s degrees in Political Science and Public Administration (National and Kapodistrian University of Athens) and International and European Studies (LLM, Panteion University). She, also, holds a diploma in Journalism with specialization in international reportage. Her main research interests include Comparative Public Policy, Processes of Policy Transfer, Regulatory Governance and Economic Analysis of Law.
She is a Lawyer/Member of the Athens Bar Association. From 2012 until present, she is a Special Advisor at Hellenic Parliament with regulatory production affairs (legal analysis on Bills, preparation of amendments etc) being among her primary responsibilities. She previously worked as a Legal Advisor, mainly, in administrative law cases. She has full professional proficiency in English and French. Elementary proficiency in German and Turkish and basic knowledge of Dutch.
